Cookie Policy

Every piece of storage this website uses, named, with what it does and how to get rid of it.

The short version

Two entries are stored on your device no matter what, because without them the age question and the cookie bar would reappear on every page. Everything else — analytics and advertising measurement — waits for you to press Accept all, and never loads if you press Essential only.

What counts as a cookie here

Strictly, the two essential items are not cookies at all. They are values in your browser's local storage, which behaves like a cookie from your point of view but is never sent to our server. The analytics and advertising items are real cookies, set by Google in your browser. We treat all of them under the same policy so there is nothing hidden behind a definition.

Essential storage, always present

  • rd_age_pass — written when you answer the age question on the entry page. Values: yes or no. Without it you would be asked again every time you opened a page. Stays until you clear site data.
  • rd_consent — written when you choose on the cookie bar. Values: granted or denied. It is what stops the bar coming back, and it is what we read before deciding whether Google may load at all. Stays until you clear site data.

Neither value identifies you. Neither leaves your device. We cannot read them from our side and nobody buys them from us.

Analytics, only with consent

With consent we load Google Analytics 4, which sets _ga and a property-specific _ga_<ID> cookie. They distinguish one browser from another so we can total up visits, see which sections get read to the end and work out where people lose interest. Typical lifetime is up to two years, and you can delete them at any time in your browser.

Advertising measurement, only with consent

We buy search advertising for this resort. With consent, Google Ads and its conversion measurement may set _gcl_au on this site and use its own IDE and test_cookie cookies on doubleclick.net. They exist so we can tell which advertisement led to a visit and stop paying for the ones that lead nowhere. Lifetimes range from minutes to roughly thirteen months.

Consent Mode v2, in plain words

Before any Google tag can run, the head of every page sets ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage to denied. That is the default state and it applies to a first-time visitor who has not touched the bar. Choosing Accept all sends a single update that flips those four to granted. Choosing Essential only leaves them denied and nothing else is requested.

Changing your mind

Press Cookie settings in the footer of any page. The bar comes back and whatever you choose replaces your previous answer immediately. Withdrawing consent is exactly one click, the same as giving it.

Blocking storage in your browser

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, and Delete browsing data for what is already stored.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy, then Manage Website Data to remove this site specifically.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data, with the Strict protection level if you want it blanket.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Blocking everything is fine by us. The age question will simply come back on each visit, since the answer has nowhere to live.

Tags you will not find here

  • Not one social pixel. Search these pages for a Meta, TikTok, X or LinkedIn tag and you will come up empty.
  • No browser fingerprinting, canvas tricks or device-identification scripts.
  • No data broker, no audience list sold on, no profile built about you for anyone else.
  • No chat widget, no session recorder, no heatmap tool, no A/B testing script.
  • No gambling software of any kind, because there is nothing to gamble on here.
