What this website is

These pages are published by Rio Dorado Casino Resort to describe one building: its rooms, its two kitchens, its bars, the La Pista dance hall, the Piscina Cielo pool deck and the Salón Trueno casino floor. By reading on you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, close the tab; nothing else is required of you.

Adults only

These pages are written for people of 18 and over, and for older readers again where local law raises the minimum age for a casino. That is why an age question stands at the entrance. Answering it dishonestly does not create any right of entry: identity is checked by a human being at the bottom of the casino staircase, and the answer you gave a web page carries no weight there.

No gambling is offered here

This is the clause we would underline if we could. Rio Dorado operates a land-based casino inside a hotel. The website does not. There are no games on these pages, no wagers are accepted through them, no stake can be placed, no account exists, and no money can be deposited, withdrawn or transferred anywhere on this site. Any page, application or message that appears to offer online play in our name is not ours, and we would be grateful to hear about it.

Accuracy, and what is not an offer

Opening hours, room descriptions, floor areas, menus, line-ups and the weekly programme are written as accurately as we can and then reality interferes: a band cancels, a kitchen closes for a service, a room is out for repair, a public holiday moves the hours. Nothing here is a contractual offer, a guarantee of availability or a promise of a particular price. Nothing is held for you until reception has written back by email and said so.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, stylesheet, drawings and mark on this site belong to Rio Dorado Casino Resort. You are welcome to read it, print a page for your own use, and link to it. You may not republish, copy into another website, sell, or feed the text into a product of your own without our written agreement. Our name and mark may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse something we have never heard of.

Links out

We link to three independent gambling support organisations and to nothing else that we do not control. Those links are offered because the organisations are useful, not because we have any relationship with them. We are not responsible for what any external website publishes, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the page it points at.

Conduct at the property

These are terms for a website, but a word about the building. We reserve the right to refuse admission, to ask a guest to leave, and to withdraw access to the casino floor, the dance hall or any bar where someone will not show identification, is abusively drunk, threatens staff or other guests, interferes with a game, photographs other players, or breaches the house rules printed at the staircase. Door staff decisions stand for the evening and are reviewed by the duty manager afterwards, not in the doorway.

Availability of the site

We would like these pages to be reachable at all times, and most of the time they will be. We do not promise it. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, a host failure or anything beyond our reasonable control, and we do not owe compensation for the inconvenience of a page that would not load.

Liability

We are responsible for the accuracy of what we publish as far as the law requires, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, from reliance on a detail that changed, or from a technical problem at your end or ours.

Governing law

The law that applies to these terms is the law of the place where the resort is established, and a dispute about them belongs in the courts of that same place. This clause does not take away a consumer right you have under the law of the country where you live.
